Who We Are

We're racers, just like you. Broad Run Off Road consists of a group of people who love being active and getting outdoors. While we love racing, we got tired of the need to drive in to the big city all the time for any races/events, and tired of the demanding, and often boring, asphalt. So we decided to create some events out in our neck of the woods, literally. We wanted to focus on creating races that we'd want to participate in, focusing on the fun, and also use them as a way to raise money and awareness for awesome non-profit organizations in our area... a win/win if there ever was one.

100% Proceeds Donated / 100% Volunteer Supported

We are a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization, and our events are designed wholly around donating proceeds to local organizations where it can make a difference. While there's certainly nothing wrong with being a big race production company or producing events for-profit; that's just not us. We're doing this for the love of it and to give back to our communities. Not a single one of us is paid, and not a single dollar of our race revenue is pocketed as profit.

So far we've worked with and raised over $50,000 for organizations such as Serve Our Willing Warriors, Northern Virginia Conservation Trust, Rainbow Therapeutic Riding Center, Friends of Lake Anna State Park, Friends of Homeless Animals, Fredericksburg Trails Alliance, Friends of the Rappahannock River, Cub Scouts Pack 42, Girl Scouts Troops 90094 and 90088, Fredericksburg Parks & Rec. Fund, Haymarket Elementary School PTO, the Vint Hill Dog Park and MORE (Mid-Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts); and we just want to keep adding to that list.
